📲 How to Enable SMS/WhatsApp Functionality for Matthew AI


We’ve made it easier than ever to stay connected to your personal coach on the go. With our new and improved SMS/WhatsApp feature, chatting with Matthew AI is now more seamless, reliable, and user-friendly, no matter where you are in the world.

Whether you’re looking for daily mindset support, quick confidence boosts, or answers to your dating questions, you can now receive messages directly to your phone in just a few easy steps.

To walk you through the setup, Stephen filmed a quick Loom video showing exactly how it works:


1. Log Into Matthew AI

Head to Matthew AI and log in using your Love Life account credentials.

2. Click the “Text Matthew AI” Button in Your Dashboard

Once you're logged in, click on the text Matthew AI button in your dashboard and say hello đź‘‹ to get the conversation started.

3. Tap the Three Dots (â‹Ż) in the Bottom Right Corner

In your chat window, click the three dots in the bottom right-hand corner to open the Action Center.

4. Select “Get a Text” From the dropdown menu

From the menu, choose “Get a Text” to begin setting up your mobile messaging preferences.

5. Choose Your Platform

You’ll see a screen prompting you to choose your messaging platform:


  • Text Message (SMS): For users in North America (U.S. & Canada)
  • WhatsApp: For users outside North America

6. If You’re in the U.S. or Canada

Choose Text Message, then enter your mobile number when prompted.

📱 Matthew AI will send a quick verification text. Once you confirm, you’ll start receiving SMS messages directly to your phone.

7. If You’re Outside North America (International Users)

Choose WhatsApp and enter your WhatsApp number. You’ll receive a WhatsApp message from Matthew AI at the number you entered.

Just reply to that message (a simple “Hi” works!) to confirm and activate WhatsApp messaging.

Once your number is verified, you’ll start getting helpful reminders, personalized prompts, and supportive messages directly from Matthew AI, right on your phone.
